Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Craig & Kelly Hamm
 
Craig Hamm was welcomed as TFBC’s new Pastor in January, 2016. Craig grew up in Sylacauga and attended Auburn University. He graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May, 2014 with a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry. Craig served on staff at both Lakeview Baptist and Farmville Baptist before joining TFBC. He has a passion for missions work and has served as an intern for both the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board. Craig’s wife Kelly has been blessed with many gifts, among which are hospitality, public speaking, and missions work. She enjoys reading, running, and dogs. James and Sonia Simmons
 
 
James Simmons is the Head Trustee at TFBC. He also serves as Cemetary Director, responsible for the management and upkeep of the Cemetary. James manages the Family Life Center administration and also makes the best ice cream at special events! He serves on other committees as well. James’ wife Sonia also serves TFBC as our accountant and plays the piano beautifully during worship services. James and Sonia have 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. They are passionate about antique car shows and enjoy attending them whenever they can. In his spare time, James restores antique cars.
Peggy & George Swartz
 
 
George Schwartz serves as a Trustee and is the Discipleship Director. In this role, George is responsible for selecting the training curriculum and materials for the Discipleship Ministry. George also heads up the church’s audio/visual communications department and is active serving on the Building & Grounds committee. He and his wife Peggy have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Peggy is also very active in church service. George has a successful screen printing and embroidery business and enjoys doing that in his spare time. Peggy loves to quilt, embroider, sew, and serve others.
Alfred and Charlene Cleveland
 
 
Alfred Cleveland is a trustee at TFBC, serves on the Building & Grounds Committee and is active in the Visitation ministry. His wife Charlene heads up the Missions program at TFBC. She is actively involved in the WMU and keeps the congregation abreast of the various mission programs and needs. Charlene is also an RN and  runs our Hypertension Clinic on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 10:30 am.  Charlene and Alfred have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. They both enjoy gardening, traveling, and their grandchildren.
 
Juan and Jane Bowden
 
Juan Bowden is the Music Director at TFBC. The Bible has a lot to say about music, and Juan’s role is to lead the church’s worship of God in a way that matches the character of God. Juan has been leading the Music Ministry at TFBC for more than 9 years and has a passion for music. Juan and his wife Jane have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. They both enjoy embroidery, crafts, and helping people through volunteer opportunities.
Roy McGrady
 
Roy McGrady is the Sunday School Director at TFBC. He is responsible for ensuring that materials are available for the Sunday School classes, and also oversees the Sunday School teachers. Roy also serves in the Visitation ministry and is active in other roles within the church. Roy and his wife Sarah have 2 children, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Roy enjoys hunting, fishing, and serving others, and Sarah enjoys art and her grandkids.

 

 

Dowell Goodson teaches our Adult Sunday School class each Sunday at 9:45 am. Dowell has a heart for teaching and carefully unpacks God’s Word in a relevant and meaningful way. Dowell also serves in other capacities at TFBC such as the Visitation ministry and as the Church Secretary. He has a true passion for reaching people for Jesus and always seeks ways to serve others.  Dowell has 2 children, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He enjoys serving as the family taxi, gardening, and riding his lawn mower.

 
 
 
Pam Geiger teaches the TFBC Kid’s Sunday School each Sunday at 9:45 am. She has a passion for teaching young people about Jesus in a relevant and meaningful way. She also serves as the Activities Director, heads up the Sunshine Club ministry, and also serves in the Communications department as well as on other committees. Pam enjoys gardening, kayaking, hiking, reading, and serving others.
